Erin Jolley
Marketing & Outreach
La Boca Center for Sustainability
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Erin has held a life-long interest in environmental and social sustainability. Living in a growing desert community, she became closely familiar with the unique environmental challenges of the southwest such as water issues, nuclear waste, rapid population growth and the need for renewable energy. Her concerns for local and global environmental issues lead her to study Environmental Studies at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. There she founded the student environmental club, Sierra Student Coalition, and lead her university toward sustainability through renewable energy policy, campus activism and education outreach.
Erin’s interests have also lead her around the world to learn more about cultural and environmental sustainability. From the Swiss Alps, to the volcanoes of Guatemala, the villages of Himalayas and cities of India, she has developed a unique perspective on global development and the urgent need for solutions. Currently, Erin is living and working near Durango, Colorado and enjoying her time marketing and farming at the beautiful La Boca.
